Grain Harvest period:
Winter crops - Cereals & canola:
Variations in start & finish of the harvest will be dependant on planting time & growing conditions.
Harvest begins in North, being central & southern Queensland from mid to late September. In the south west being the western parts of South Australia in October.
Harvest generally progresses south from Queensland through to south west Victoria & south eastern South Australia in January.
Summer Crops - Corn, sorghum & rice.
March to June; depending on regions, planting opportunities & crop growing conditions.
